BOOK FAIR
Coordinates the annual event at Barnes and Noble.  It includes activities for the kids and a percentage of the profit is given back to the school by Barnes and Noble.
 
BRICKS                
Coordinates the sale and installation of customized bricks for the sidewalk in front of the school.
 
FALL GIFT SALE  
Acts as the liaison between the Great American representative and Bannockburn School to sell Great American products.  This includes the distribution of catalogs, the collection/reconciliation of payment as well as the selection of motivational games and prizes. 
 
HOT LUNCH/PIZZA          
Coordinates and assists with the ordering, delivery, and serving of weekly lunches as well as the collection/reconciliation of payment.  M, W, and Fri. ‘fast food’ lunch menus are provided at the beginning of the ‘semester’ for ordering; payment is needed when the order is placed.
 
SPIRIT WEAR
Designs, markets, and collects payment for school branded clothing  and the sports programs for the Bannockburn School families.

BANNOCKBURN BULLDOG PUMPKIN RUN
Coordinates 5K family run/1 mile walk through village and pumpkin sale with local nursery.  Communicates to school and organizes the collection of money.

BUZZ BOOK                    
Compiles and organizes all pertinent school, BSPO, staff and student information into a school directory.  Every family receives one directory courtesy of BSPO. Extra copies are sold in the office.
 
CULTURAL ARTS                         
Organizes cultural programs & field trips for our students featuring a wide variety of entertainment and hands-on learning.  This chairperson coordinates these efforts with the teachers and local service providers.
 
HOSPITALITY
Facilitates the Fall Back-to-School Teacher Lunch, Spring Teacher Appreciation Luncheon, and BSPO Final Meeting Luncheon.   Includes caterer & menu selection, food and beverage set-up and clean-up.
 
ICE CREAM SOCIAL                            
Coordinates the school-wide ‘Welcome Back to School’ event which includes the ordering and serving of ice cream and the arrangement of entertainment.
 
LOWER SCHOOL PICNIC   
Facilitates the end of year school picnic for AM/PM Kindergarten, First, Second, Third and Fourth grades. 
 
MOVIE NIGHT                                                 
Facilitates two movie nights for the entire school.  Includes movie selection, taking ticket money, and serving snacks and water.
 
NEW FAMILY WELCOME COMMITTEE   
Welcomes new families to the school by providing them with information about BSPO.  Ensures that they are aware of the Ice Cream Social and other events sponsored by BSPO.

ROOM PARENTS
Secures volunteers to be the head and co-room parents each year.  Distributes the annual allotment and reminds parents to return unused funds at end of year to the Treasurer.  Also provides basic rules and training to the room parents.
 
Head room parents act as the liaison between the  teacher and parents for each classroom regarding volunteering.  They organize classroom parties three times per year; Halloween, Oct. 29th; Winter Holiday Party, Dec. 17th; and Valentine’s Day, Feb. 11th (K-5 only) as well as other volunteer opportunities within the classroom.  The head room parent may also coordinate  teacher gifts.
